A couple weeks ago, my dad fulfilled a dream when he drove an Indy car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The day prior, he rode along with an Indy race car driver at speeds topping 180 mph...kind of glad I wasn't there to see that! This was in celebration of his 60th birthday so we had family and friends join us at the track for the drive event. You could just feel the excitement! It was a very special time and was awesome to see my dad so happy, it has been a bit of a rough year for him. We had a great time cheering him on!
We even had t-shirts made so eveyone knew: "Phil's Ridin' Sixty And Drivin' Dirty."
