Lillian sits up like a champ...no help needed! Although we still keep a watchful eye and extra padding all around her should she take a tumble (which she has and we learned from.)
Lillian is pulling and scooting herself around. She becomes especially mobile when she has a toy in sight. She always finds a way to get to it.
Lillian is grasping toys, picking them up and bringing them to her (usually to her mouth.) She has also learned the fun trick of throwing her toys so mommy or daddy has to retrieve them for her.
Lillian is making many sounds including: ca, ah, mu, ee. These may not be phonetically correct but you get the point. She has also learned how to spit. It's very lady-like.
Lillian can see her shadow and likes playing with it, especially when she is on the changing table. She reaches for it and "talks" to it. Adorable.
So far, Lillian is eating carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, apples and pears. She also really likes water...she takes sips from our cups! We have a lot of fun during feedings as she tries to feed herself but gets most of it all over herself and the highchair. But it is so fun to watch her experience something new and learn to do things on her own.
Lillian is such a big girl...makes me a little teary eyed!

Lil and I took a trip to Indy this weekend. Teresa was in town which was extra fun. Lil also enjoyed play time with Aunt Shannon. Grandpa Phil and Grammie watched Lil while Teresa, Paul and I went to the Dave Matthews concert (it was awesome.) We celebrated my mom's birthday (I won't tell you her age but it was a significant birthday) on Sunday with a nice lunch and cake afterwards. We had a wonderful weekend!

Oh my Gosh Sara she so so darn cute!!! I wish I could see her more. Good Luck tomorrow and she will definitely be in our prayers. We'll have to send her a little care package to help her feel better.:)
