We had another Dr. apt this morning and he listened for the heartbeat with the doppler. He found it after almost a minute and a half...I was getting a little nervous! But everything is just fine. It was faint but you could definitely hear it. The Dr. said it was because the baby is still further back in my pelvis. He said that at this point, our chances of miscarriage drop to 1%. Whew whoo!!
We do have to make the decision of whether or not we are going to have the quad test done (genetic testing). We are leaning towards no due to the fact that they have a high false/positive rate and we wouldn't do anything differently if we found out anything may be wrong. It's a tough decision.
We are off to Michigan tomorrow for a week at the lake. This may just be our last vacation together before small fry arrives!
