You stopped me in my tracks and melted my heart this morning with three little words...
I handed you your milk and when my reply to your first "dank you" wasn't enthusiastic enough, you followed it up with a wave of your little hand and a louder, more firm "dank you mommy!" And with those words, I felt so rewarded. Every day with you is rewarding but to know that you comprehend feeling thankful to me, makes me feel great. "Dank you Lillian!"
